June 2013 GSE Visit
On May 23rd Lorain Rotary hosted the Group Study Exchange team from India. During that day they were treated to a morning field trip to Levit Jewelers, the regular noon meeting with lunch at The Rose Café and an afternoon boat ride around the Lorain Lighthouse and down the Black River. An added bonus in the afternoon were rides in Herb de la Porte’s unique amphibious car—thanks Herb! They all seemed to thoroughly enjoy their day.
The team, shown below, from left to right with President Tony : Dinesh Reddy (assistant professor in chemical engineering for over 9 years), Swaroop Kumar (Engineer for 2 years), Gopalakrishna Sadhu (chartered accountant for 30 years) and Khaja Mohteshamuddin (veterinarian for 3 years).
Bottom : Herb de la Porte and 3 GSE teams members after they cruised up the river.
