May 2018

Dear Rotarians,

Welcome to Spring!

May will be a busy month for our Lorain Rotary Club!

On Saturday, May 12 from 8 a.m. - Noon, Lorain Lions invited Lorain      Rotary to join them in an effort to clean up Oakwood Park. They will be painting bleachers and park benches. If interested in participating, they will be meeting at 8 a.m. near field 1, next to the Armory.

On Friday, May 18 at noon, Lorain Rotary will be distributing dictionaries to 75 third-graders at Horizon Science Academy (old Lorain Catholic building) located on Tower Boulevard and Falbo Avenue.

On May 19th the City of Lorain will be hosting Pride Day and we will be cleaning up Settlers Landing!  We will start around 9 am and Phil is bringing donuts.

Service above Self is one of the keys to the success of Rotary around the world!

I hope to see you at one of our many projects this month.  It is important to get out into the public and do awesome things.

Thanks and take care!
